Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the weight loss program cost?
We are the most affordable in the area and prices are based on your dose. As you increase in dose, the price also goes up slightly.
How soon can I get my first injection?
After you and the provider go over your labs, you can get your first injection same day if you are in Texas. Otherwise, it usually takes 2-3 days for medications to arrive in your mailbox.
Do I have to go into the clinic every week for my injection?
No! You can inject comfortably in your own home after your first visit. We will make sure you are comfortable and know how to inject yourself before you leave.
Can I inject myself at home?
Yes, we’ll set you up! We’ll arrange to have your meds sent to you so you can do it conveniently in your own home. You can live anywhere in the state of Texas!
I’m already on a higher dose do I have to start all over?
No. We got you on any dose. We will restart whatever dose you are currently on so you don’t have to start all over.
Do I have to live in Texas?
No. We are now shipping to several states. I can give you more info if you are outside of Texas. And if you are far from our clinic in The Woodlands, we can tele health with you to set everything up at your convenience.
What is virtual care?
Virtual care allows you to communicate with a provider in a video meeting on your computer, tablet, or phone. It’s also called telehealth, telemedicine, or video visits.
Tell us about your symptoms, mental health, or medical concerns during our virtual visit. We can recommend a path forward. Our providers can write prescriptions and give you care options in a treatment plan.
Do I need health insurance to be seen?
No. Our costs are out of pocket/cash pay. You will be sent a link either to your phone or email to complete the payment before your visit.
Can I get prescriptions for my condition from the visit?
Yes. If we prescribe medicine, we’ll send it to the pharmacy of your choice. Please note that we cannot prescribe certain medications, such as narcotics, controlled substances, pain medication or sample medication.
How do I prepare for my virtual visit?
To ensure your visit goes as smoothly as possible:
- Find a private space with good lighting.
- Make sure your device is connected to a strong and stable internet connection.
- Have your health information ready, including a list of any allergies or medications you are taking.
What happens if we get disconnected during my visit?
If you are disconnected, the provider will attempt to connect with you again. If we cannot reconnect, schedule another visit when you can. You are not charged for a visit until we give you a treatment plan.
Can I cancel my visit?
Yes. You can cancel from the email or text we send to confirm your visit.
